Description

Construction Permit Intelligence Engine

A working software asset built for construction lead generation and early-stage project intelligence.

The system is designed to identify active construction opportunities from public permit data, organize project information, enrich available owner/property details, and turn raw public records into actionable leads for contractors, sales teams, lenders, and construction service providers.

What it does

  • Processes construction permit and project data
  • Identifies active and recently filed construction opportunities
  • Organizes property, project, owner, and permit information
  • Enriches lead records using available public data
  • Helps identify projects before contractor selection is complete
  • Creates structured lead intelligence for outreach and sales workflows
  • Supports filtering, prioritization, and qualification of opportunities

Ideal buyers

This product can be useful for:

  • General contractors
  • Specialty subcontractors
  • Construction lead-generation companies
  • Building-material suppliers
  • Construction financing companies
  • Commercial sales teams
  • PropTech / ConTech businesses
  • Agencies selling leads to contractors

What's included

The acquisition includes:

  • Full source code
  • Frontend application
  • Backend / processing logic included in the packaged codebase
  • Lead intelligence workflows
  • Permit-processing functionality
  • Database structure
  • Sample/demo data
  • Setup documentation
  • Deployment instructions
  • Environment-variable template
  • Technical handoff documentation

Third-party API credentials and private customer information are intentionally excluded. The buyer can connect their own API keys and services after acquisition.

Current status

The software is functional and being sold as a pre-revenue software asset.

It was developed from real construction-industry workflows rather than as a generic demo project. The underlying concept has been used to explore construction opportunities, permit intelligence, owner identification, and lead qualification.

The codebase is packaged for transfer and includes documentation intended to make buyer handoff straightforward.

Opportunity

A buyer could continue developing the product as:

  • A construction lead SaaS
  • A permit-intelligence platform
  • A contractor prospecting tool
  • A lead-generation service
  • A construction-financing origination tool
  • A private internal sales intelligence system

Additional cities, permit sources, enrichment providers, CRM integrations, outreach automation, and subscription billing could be added to expand the product.

Why I'm selling

I am reallocating development time toward newer products and would rather transfer this project to someone who wants to continue building or commercializing it.

This is a full product/codebase acquisition rather than a revenue-multiple business sale.

FAQ

What external services or APIs do I need to connect?
The codebase includes the permit-processing and lead-enrichment logic, but you will need to supply your own API keys for permit data sources, enrichment providers, and any CRM or outreach tools you want to integrate. The environment-variable template shows what credentials go where. Third-party customer data and existing API keys are not included.
What's the tech stack?
The full source code is included with both frontend and backend logic in one packaged codebase. Setup documentation and deployment instructions are provided, so you can see the exact dependencies and architecture when you unpack it.
What level of documentation is included?
Basic documentation covers setup and deployment. Technical handoff documentation explains the workflows and data structure. This is not a fully annotated codebase, so you should be comfortable reading code to understand extension points and customization options.
Is this actively maintained?
No. The software is functional and ready to run, but there is no ongoing maintenance or updates from the builder. You own the code outright and can modify it however you need.
What data comes with it?
Sample and demo data are included so you can see how the system works and test workflows locally. You will need to connect your own permit data sources and enrichment APIs to populate real leads.
