Development status
The project is an early-stage software/product asset rather than a claim of a fully production-ready commercial service.
The current codebase has been tested with:
- 384/384 API, shared and mobile tests passing
- TypeScript checks passing
- API build passing
- Shared package build passing
- Web build passing
The included Android builds are version 1.0.4.
What is NOT included
For security and transfer reasons, the package does not include:
- private signing keys
- keystore passwords
- production API secrets
- Google Play credentials
- Expo/EAS account credentials
- personal accounts
- payment credentials
- private database credentials
External services, domains, developer accounts and infrastructure can be transferred separately if agreed with the buyer.
Important note about artwork
The software was designed around contemporary artwork discovery, but the included sample/demo artwork should not be interpreted as artwork owned or licensed by the seller.
The sale concerns the software and technical infrastructure, not ownership of third-party artwork.
Who could use it?
NexArtApp could be useful to:
- an indie developer looking for a substantial starting point
- an entrepreneur building an art discovery platform
- an art-tech startup
- a gallery or art organisation wanting its own digital platform
- a developer looking for a React Native + Next.js project
- someone interested in acquiring an existing product concept rather than starting from zero
The buyer can continue developing the existing concept or adapt the codebase to a different marketplace, discovery platform or cultural application.
Why I'm selling it
I'm offering NexArtApp as a low-cost project acquisition rather than continuing development myself.
The buyer receives the existing codebase and documentation and can take the project in whatever direction they choose.
No claim is made regarding existing revenue, paying customers, market traction or future commercial performance.
FAQ
- What accounts and services do I need to set up myself?
- You'll need PostgreSQL, Redis, Meilisearch, Stripe, Cloudflare R2 (or S3-compatible storage), and Sentry. You'll also need to set up your own Google Play and Expo accounts if you want to build and distribute the Android app. The package does not include production credentials, signing keys, or keystore passwords for any of these services.
- What's the tech stack?
- React Native with Expo on mobile, Next.js on web, and Fastify on the backend. Everything is TypeScript. The database is PostgreSQL with Redis for caching and BullMQ for job queues. If you've worked in any of these, the architecture will be straightforward to navigate.
- What documentation is included?
- Basic documentation: product overview, technical architecture, current status, known limitations, infrastructure setup, and a handover guide. There's also a license audit and third-party notices. This is enough to understand what you're getting and how to run it, but not a full tutorial.
- What's the test and build status?
- All 384 API, shared, and mobile tests pass. TypeScript checks pass. The Android builds included are version 1.0.4. This is an early-stage codebase, not a production service with paying users or revenue.
- What's not included?
- No private signing keys, keystore passwords, production secrets, Google Play credentials, Expo account access, or payment processor credentials. The artwork in the demo is sample data only and is not owned or licensed by the seller. External services and domains can be transferred separately if you negotiate that with the seller.
