Reporting a Purchase Problem

When to report a problem, what counts and what happens next.

Updated

How long do I have to report a problem?

You have 24 hours from source delivery to report a purchase problem. Every sale is final. Reporting doesn't delay your source code.

What can I report?

You can report 3 things: the listing misrepresented the software, a bug stops it working, or another factual problem. A limitation the Builder disclosed in the listing doesn't count.

Open the purchase in your Library and select Report a problem. Include what you expected from the listing and what happened instead.

What happens to the Builder's payout?

An open report holds the Builder's payout until the report is resolved. The 24-hour report deadline and the payout hold are different: payouts wait at least 72 hours, longer while a report is open.

If you need help finding the purchase or report control, contact support. Contacting support is not a substitute for filing the purchase report within its deadline.
